M.Ed or Master of education is a 2-year post-graduate degree course and in some colleges of 1 year for the candidates who want to pursue their career in different domains of the education sector and study new methods of educational research. This degree focuses on various aspects of education like counselling, curriculum and educational technology.
The NCHE( National council of Higher education) is a regulatory body in charge of the M.Ed programme. After the completion of the M.Ed programme. one can opt for various jobs such as teacher, counsellor, administrator etc.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. The candidate should clear B.Ed with a minimum aggregate of 55% from a recognized university.
2. Also, the candidates who are pursuing BAEd, BscEd or Msced are sometimes eligible for an M.Ed course depending on the policy of the institution in which they are applying.
3. The candidates who are possessing a postgraduate degree sometimes get additional weightage while taking admission.
